findings: direct managers, hierarchy, team, region and uneven expectations caused a lot of friction for employees.

impact: new employee leave policy. equivalent vacation and time off benefits across the global workforce. manager training and templates to communicate expectations. lead by example, leaders send fewer weekend + late evening emails, discussing value of time off to recharge. closing global offices for 4 days over holidays.
